The new running season/year started here last month. My husband is an avid runner and my kids love to run as well. Because running is such a big part of our lives, I have decided that each year I will design a new running kit to scrapbook.
We have a great local running store here in town. The store has a large gecko mascot named Zippy. My kids love Zippy so I based the color scheme of my new Fun Run Kit on Zippy. I used running photos of me, my husband and kids to create the silhouettes that are found in this kit.
I wanted to have some gecko and tropical elements in honor of Zippy and some of the local races that we do so I also designed the Fun Run Tropical Add On. It doesn’t get any more tropical than hibiscus and geckos!
This layout is from the first race of the season. You can see Zippy the Gecko in the layout along with my children and husband.
